Plenty of clearance between the back of the engine and the firewall.
Although I'll have to build headers for this swap, it doesn't look like it will be too difficult.
Lots of room up front too.
The driver's side exhaust may be a little tougher with the steering shaft but stll very do-able.
This was a big surprise, I can keep the entire brake system intact. I thought for sure the booster would hit.
Here you can see the steering shaft coming through the firewall. The rubber boot is holding it against the
valvecover. If I trim the edge of the hole and reposition the boot the shaft will clear everything (I hope).
It doesn't look like hood clearance is going to be a problem.
The waterneck just clears the upper control arm mount. Looks like the 1" offset of the engine is
coming in real handy.
Looks to be just enough room betwwen the oil filter mount and the rack for a filter relocation kit.
